T’way Air handed out coupons for round trips on its 18 international sectors from Japan: JPY 2,000 for departures between September and November, JPY 3,000 for departures from December to March 2027. Downloads ran to 13 September 2026.
The JPY 3,000 only reaches departures from December onward, so the autumn holidays get the JPY 2,000
Both coupons need a round-trip booking. Neither works on a one-way purchase, which closes off the common pattern of taking the outbound leg on a budget carrier and coming home on someone else.
The larger amount carries an extra condition. JPY 2,000 covers departures from September to November 2026; JPY 3,000 is treated as an early-bird offer and only attaches to flights leaving between December 2026 and March 2027. Anyone travelling over the autumn holidays or in foliage season has one option, and it is the smaller one; reaching the extra JPY 1,000 means moving the trip to the year-end break or the spring holidays. Coupons are also not reissued once a booking is cancelled, which rules out collecting one now and deciding the dates later.
Travel periods are not uniform either. Fifteen of the 18 sectors run to 27 March 2027, but Tokyo–Busan and Fukuoka–Jeju stop on 24 October 2026, five months earlier, and Saga–Seoul ends on 26 March, a day short of the rest. Take the JPY 3,000 coupon intending to use one of those two winter-short sectors and the two windows do not overlap by a single day — the coupon starts in December, the route stops in October. T’way Air itself notes that dates on which the code does not apply can occur even inside a route’s travel period.
The SEP26 code has limits of its own: itineraries departing Japan only, no use on event fares, and the reduction attaches to the fare portion alone, leaving the fuel surcharge and airport service charges untouched. International tickets issued from 1 July 2026 also carry the international tourist tax of JPY 3,000 per person. Stack the JPY 3,000 coupon and 16% off the fare and the total still falls by less than the headline suggests. Quantities are limited and the offer can end early, so waiting until 13 September was never a guarantee of buying at all. The other half of the budget is on the ground — what Seoul and Busan hotels cost on your dates.
One thing has changed about the airline since. In September 2026 T’way Air rebranded as Trinity Airways, and the old domain twayair.com now redirects to trinityairways.com, measured on 20 September 2026. Confirmation screens and sender names on emails may not match what they said at the time of booking.

The 16% belongs to one sector, Osaka to Guam; the Korean routes sit between 4% and 10%
Reading “up to 16%” as a guide to a Korean route leaves you short by a wide margin: Korea runs 4% to 10%, and the two sectors out of Sapporo are the thinnest cut of all 18 at 4%.
Nor does a bigger percentage produce a smaller number. Osaka to Cheongju is 10% off at JPY 17,680; Fukuoka to Daegu is 7% off at JPY 16,190. The shallower discount is the cheaper ticket, which is the usual outcome when a rate is applied to differently sized fares. What ranks these sectors is the lowest fare from each departure airport, not the percentage: Seoul costs JPY 14,150 from Saga and JPY 21,210 from Sapporo, a spread of JPY 7,060 for the same destination. Out of Sapporo this round was unfavourable on both counts, which moves the comparison to other carriers entirely.
