When Are Trinity Airways Sales? A Forecast and Past Rounds

Table of Contents6 items
On the event page of Trinity Airways (formerly T’way Air), the monthly sale opened on 4 May, 1 June, 1 July, 1 August, 1 September and 1 October. May is the only one on the 4th; the other five opened on the 1st exactly. Extra rounds with a set period also opened mid-month, on 11 August, 14 September, 5 October and 10 October. There is not a single day without something on offer from 4 May to 1 November, 182 days. If the same pattern opens on Sunday 1 November it would be the seventh, but that is not a date the airline has given.
The forecast is an estimate drawn from past rounds and is not a guarantee of the airline’s plans. For dates, fares and conditions, the airline’s own site is what counts.
Now on sale
What appears there is every round we have confirmed against an airline’s own announcement and whose deadline has not passed, so airlines other than Trinity Airways turn up in the list. Trinity Airways often has several offers running at once, so a coupon missing from the box can still be on the airline’s event page.
When is the next one? What the record shows
The table holds ten entries picked from the airline’s running and ended event lists: the monthly sales and the coupon offers with a set period. Other offers that overlapped, such as a 5,000 yen coupon for Busan and Daegu and a discount on listed routes from Japan that opened on 15 July, are left out. What we could confirm starts on 4 May; before that we did not look. Where the list gives no amount the cell is a dash. Five of the rows we wrote up as bulletins, and each opens one (in Japanese).
The gaps between monthly openings are 28, 30, 31, 31 and 30 days. Because each opens on the first of a month, the gap is just the length of the calendar month. From 4 May to 1 November, 182 days, the monthly offers and the mid-month offers join up with no break. Waiting for the sales to lapse is not a plan this sequence supports.
The names changed: Tea-wari from May to August, September-only SALE in September, Toridoki Sale in October. The opening dates did not. The amounts take different forms, from up to 3,000 yen off to up to 11% off, and cannot be compared in one table. What can be compared is when each opens and when its payment period closes.
Month by month, what is on record (last two years)
● on record ○ nothing on record ― outside the observation window. What we could confirm starts on 4 May 2026, so there is no observation before May and November onward lies ahead. October is counted to the 12th.
From May to October a monthly offer opened at the start of all six months. A different offer was added mid-month on 8 June (summer Guam trip), 15 July (a discount on listed routes from Japan), 11 August, 14 September, and 5 and 10 October; May alone had none. For November, neither the opening offer nor any mid-month addition has been announced.
The kinds of sale, and how each one behaves
The month’s offer opens on the 1st, and coupons are added during the month
In October the Toridoki Sale opened on the 1st (to the 15th), a 4,000 yen round-trip coupon was added on the 5th (to 1 November), and a 3,500 yen round-trip coupon on the 10th (to the 23rd). As of the 10th, three were running at once.
But the airline’s coupon guide allows one airfare discount coupon per booking number. Someone using the larger 4,000 yen coupon cannot stack the 3,500 yen one on the same booking. More offers running still means one coupon per purchase.
Payment period and travel period are separate, and the usable travel dates have a gap
Each coupon has a payment period (when you can buy) and a travel period (when you can fly), and the airline states that the two may differ. The Toridoki standard coupon covers travel to 28 December, and the early-bird coupon covers travel from 5 January. Between these two, travel from 29 December to 4 January falls in neither.
Someone flying over New Year looks past these two to the coupons with longer travel periods: 4,000 yen (to 27 March 2027) and 3,500 yen (to 31 January 2027), if their route fits. The airline’s coupon guide has a link for checking excluded dates.
There are conditions on channel, currency and fare type
Coupons can be used only on the airline’s website, app and mobile web, not through the reservation centre or at the airport. A coupon cannot be used either when its currency differs from the currency of the ticket.
A coupon cannot be used when the round-trip itinerary includes an event fare. An offer with a coupon and an event fare that is cheap in itself do not go into the same booking.
Pick the coupons now out by travel period, not face value
The four coupons on the airline’s coupon page (checked 12 October 2026) are set out by when you can buy and when you can fly. Ranking by face value is not the same as ranking by how widely each can be used.
The longest window to buy is the 4,000 yen coupon, to 1 November; the shortest is the 3,500 yen coupon, at 14 days. The early-bird and standard coupons both stop being sold on 15 October. The gap in face value is 500 to 2,000 yen, and it becomes 0 yen if your travel date falls outside the conditions.
How not to miss one
Before you book
- The amount shown is an “up to” ceiling or a “from” floor, and some dates and routes are excluded. Which flights qualify can only be seen in the coupon guide and on the booking screen.
- One airfare discount coupon applies per booking number, and a coupon once used cannot be restored.
- A coupon in a different currency from the ticket cannot be used. A coupon registered on the Japanese site is in yen.
- The airline changed its name from T’way Air to Trinity Airways. How this affects tickets already booked, flight numbers and counters is set out in our note on the rebrand.
What I take from these six months is that waiting for the start of a month makes sense only for people who have not fixed their travel date. If the date is fixed, buying on a day when a coupon covering that date is out is the surest route, and whether your date falls inside the travel period decides more than the size of the face value.
