Peach put domestic and international routes on sale from 12:00 on 26 August 2026 until 23:59 on 31 August. The floor was JPY 3,000 one way, and it sat almost entirely midweek: on the same routes, Friday to Monday ran JPY 4,000 to JPY 6,000.

JPY 3,000 only exists on Tuesday to Thursday, and three sectors have no sale fare for the flight home

Peach states that these are minimum promo fares per one-way seat and that a booking fee, airport charges and other costs are payable on top. Everything below is the fare line, so the figure at checkout is larger. JPY 3,000 was set on fifteen domestic combinations, and on most of them a second, higher fare covers the rest of the week.

The size of that second fare is not uniform, which is what makes the sale worth reading route by route rather than as a headline.

Sapporo to Fukuoka is the extreme case: JPY 3,000 apart one way, JPY 6,000 on a return trip, which very nearly doubles the total. Moving a departure by a single day is worth more on that route than the whole discount is worth on Kansai–Fukuoka, and that is the real shape of this sale — a reward for flexible dates rather than a uniform price cut. The mechanics of fare displays are set out in LCC cheap flight booking techniques. The other half of the arithmetic sits on the ground: what a midweek night in Sapporo costs decides whether moving the trip off the weekend is worth the day of leave.

Nine international sectors had a fare set for departures from Japan. Seoul held the floor; Taipei, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Singapore climbed from there. Three of the nine are marked outbound only, meaning the flight home is sold at the ordinary fare.

Pricing a round trip from the Japan-departure figure alone will therefore be wrong on Chubu–Taipei, Haneda–Taipei and Kansai–Singapore. International tickets also carry the international tourist tax, JPY 3,000 per person since 1 July 2026, inside the taxes and charges rather than the fare.

There is a hole running the other way as well. Seoul (Incheon) to Tokyo (Haneda) and to Tokyo (Narita) both carried a JPY 5,000 one-way sale fare, while Tokyo to Seoul (Incheon) carried none. Kansai and Chubu to Seoul were eligible in both directions, so the same city behaves completely differently depending on where the trip starts, and the outbound leg from Tokyo to Korea simply could not be bought in this sale.

Who it’s forAnyone who can move a departure to a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. On Sapporo–Fukuoka that flexibility is worth JPY 6,000 on a return trip. It does almost nothing for a traveller tied to weekends and public holidays: the JPY 3,000 band sits midweek, weekends keep the JPY 4,000 to JPY 6,000 settings, and November’s long weekend and the stretch from late December into early January are blacked out on most routes.
Already booked?Travel periods and blackout dates are set per route, not per sale. Kansai departures in particular lose 22–24 September, 3 November and 29–31 December on several routes, so check a holiday itinerary against the route line before anything else. Seat counts are limited and the fare ends when they sell out, with no guarantee of surviving to the final day. Baggage is priced separately — see the 7 kg LCC carry-on limit.
Compared with past salesThe JPY 3,000 headline reaches international routes only on the three Seoul sectors. Taipei ran JPY 9,000 to JPY 12,000, Hong Kong JPY 10,000, Bangkok and Singapore JPY 13,000, so the gap between the headline and the destination widens with distance. Domestically, only Kansai–Narita and Narita–New Chitose had no second, higher fare attached, which makes them the two routes where the day of the week did not change the price.
