ANA ran an international time sale from midnight on 8 July 2026 to 23:59 on 14 July. Round trips started at JPY 43,900 to Seoul and Shanghai, JPY 114,600 from Narita to Honolulu, and JPY 162,000 to Paris, London, Milan and the other European cities, with travel from 11 August 2026 to 31 May 2027 and the fuel surcharge already inside the quoted figure.

East Asia from JPY 43,900 round trip, and a Europe fare of JPY 162,000 that is mostly fuel surcharge

In East Asia, Tokyo to Seoul (Incheon and Gimpo) and Tokyo to Shanghai (Pudong and Hongqiao) ran at JPY 43,900 in economy class K, Hong Kong at JPY 57,900, and Taipei (Songshan and Taoyuan) at JPY 59,800 in K or L. Southeast Asia came in at JPY 75,900 to Singapore, JPY 76,800 to Kuala Lumpur and JPY 89,800 to Bangkok, with Perth at JPY 96,800. A few premium seats were in the sale as well: business class P to Seoul at JPY 107,900, and the same class to Bangkok at JPY 290,800.

On the long-haul side, Narita to Honolulu was JPY 114,600 in economy K and JPY 200,000 in premium economy N. Europe was JPY 162,000, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Vancouver JPY 191,900, and New York JPY 200,900. The travel window opened in three steps — 11 August for Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Perth and Taipei, 18 August for Seoul, Shanghai and Hong Kong, and 1 September for Hawaii, North America and Europe. Only Hawaii ran to 31 May 2027; North America, East Asia and Southeast Asia closed on 31 March and Europe on 28 March. China Airlines was running 20% off from Tokyo in the same month, so Taipei had two offers on the table at once.

Putting the fuel surcharge inside the quoted fare is what gave this sale its shape, and the surcharge is fixed by the date the ticket is issued. Tickets issued between 1 July and 31 August 2026 carried, one way from Japan, JPY 65,000 for Europe and North America, JPY 40,400 for Hawaii and JPY 7,400 for Korea. So the European JPY 162,000 is JPY 130,000 of surcharge around a base fare of JPY 32,000 — 80% of what you pay is the surcharge — and the Seoul JPY 43,900 is JPY 29,100 once JPY 14,800 of surcharge comes out. Ten times the distance, and the base fares sit JPY 3,000 apart. Taxes are charged on top: Japanese airport charges, the local airport tax and the passenger security service charge. Classes K, L and P allow neither changes nor refunds, and although some changeable fares were included for a fee, the cheapest seat is the wrong seat for a trip whose dates might move. Between 1 November 2026 and 31 March 2027, several East and Southeast Asian sectors switched to class L only.

Each flight held a capped number of sale seats, and the fare reverted to normal once they went. Booking the flight alone leaves the other half exposed, because Hawaii and Europe get more expensive per night the closer the departure comes; holding the dates on Klook first makes the total readable.

Who it’s forTravellers who can shift departure to a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Friday to Sunday and the edges of the long holidays carry the fewest sale seats and empty first. The K, L and P fares are wrong for anyone whose dates could still move: they cannot be changed or refunded.
Already booked? On a non-changeable fare, swapping dates means buying again rather than paying a difference. On Honolulu, ANA named NH181, NH182, NH183 and NH184 — all Narita services — as the eligible flights, so check the flight number on your confirmation rather than the airport name if you meant to fly from Haneda.
Compared with past salesANA repeated the format from 1 to 7 September 2026, for travel from 22 September to 30 June 2027, with Honolulu in economy K at JPY 105,400 and Europe from JPY 142,000. Against July’s JPY 114,600 and JPY 162,000 that is JPY 9,200 and JPY 20,000 cheaper — Europe down 12% in eight weeks — and both figures match the round-trip fall in the fuel surcharge exactly (Hawaii JPY 4,600 each way, Europe JPY 10,000). The base fares did not move. Whether to wait for the next sale is really a question about the next surcharge revision. The same week in July also carried Peach’s Tanabata Sale and ZIPAIR’s international Summer Web Special.
