Peach ran its Tanabata Sale from noon on 7 July 2026 until 23:59 on 12 July, covering 21 domestic and 11 international routes at Minimum Promo fares from JPY 4,000 one way. Travel runs from 24 August to 24 December, and the window and the blackout dates change from route to route.

JPY 4,000 bought Kansai to Fukuoka, Nagasaki, Miyazaki, Kagoshima or Amami, Narita to New Chitose, and Fukuoka to Naha. Kansai to New Chitose and Sendai, and Chubu to New Chitose and Naha, opened at JPY 5,000. On the international side the fares were JPY 5,000 to Seoul Incheon from Kansai, Narita, Haneda or Chubu, JPY 9,000 Naha to Taipei Taoyuan, JPY 10,000 Kansai to Hong Kong, JPY 12,000 Kansai to Taoyuan and to Kaohsiung, and JPY 13,000 Kansai to Singapore.

What decides the trip is the distance between the fare on the screen and the amount charged to the card. Kansai to Singapore was advertised at JPY 13,000; the cheapest all-in figure came to JPY 18,210 once airport charges, the international tourist tax and the ticketing fee were added. JPY 3,000 of that JPY 5,210 gap is the departure tax, which rose from JPY 1,000 to JPY 3,000 for tickets issued on or after 1 July 2026. Domestic tickets carry no such tax, so the JPY 4,000 seat lands much nearer its printed price.

A Minimum Promo fare is thin by design. Peach charges no fuel surcharge, but taxes and the payment fee sit outside the fare, and the allowance is 7 kg of hand luggage in total. Checked bags and seat selection are paid extras. Each flight holds a fixed number of sale seats, and the fare reverts to normal once they go.
