ANA ran a domestic flash sale from 00:00 on 29 June 2026 to 23:59 on 5 July. It covered travel from 1 August to 24 October, and the cheapest fare was Naha to Ishigaki at JPY 5,720 one way. The Obon holiday fell inside the travel window.

What set this round apart was a travel window that straddled both Obon and the autumn run of public holidays. Domestic sales are usually drawn to miss the peak, so starting on 1 August is the unusual part. Seat counts are still small, and they go in order of demand: mid-August disappears first, and weekdays from September onwards are what is left at the end.

Naha to Ishigaki taking the lowest slot is the usual shape of an ANA flash sale. The sector is short and competes only with other island routes, which leaves room to price it under the trunk routes out of Tokyo. From Haneda the floor was Itami at JPY 9,570, then New Chitose at JPY 11,220 and Fukuoka or Naha at JPY 11,880. Ishigaki reads as JPY 5,720 on its own, but reaching it from the main islands means either a connection at Naha or a nonstop, and that leg is a separate sum. Sale fares carry no advance seat selection. The first chance to choose is online check-in, 24 hours out, which is bad news for a family or a group that wants to sit together. The passenger facility charge sits outside the fare, refunds carry a fee, and the site is hard to reach in the minutes after a sale opens.
