ZIPAIR Tokyo discounted every international route out of Narita from 8 July 2026 until 23:59 on 14 July, with Seoul (Incheon) starting at JPY 6,500 one way. Travel had to fall by 24 October on the Asian routes and by 15 November on Honolulu and North America.

BangkokJPY 15,500+
HonoluluJPY 22,750+

Los AngelesJPY 29,250+
San FranciscoJPY 32,500+

Lowest Standard-seat one-way fares. No fuel surcharge is payable; taxes and airport charges are extra, and tickets issued on or after 1 July 2026 also carry the international tourist tax of JPY 3,000.

What makes a ZIPAIR fare easy to read is the absence of a fuel surcharge. Add taxes and airport charges to the figure on screen and you have the total, so the usual trap — a low fare that loses to a rival once the surcharge is added — does not arise here. On the North American routes that put a one-way crossing of the Pacific at JPY 28,950 to Vancouver, JPY 29,250 to Los Angeles and JPY 32,500 to San Francisco.

The Standard fare buys the seat and nothing else. Checked baggage, meals and seat selection are all paid options, and they accumulate with distance. Put a suitcase and two meals on the JPY 22,750 Honolulu fare and the gap against a full-service carrier’s cheapest ticket narrows considerably. Skip seat selection on a leg of nine hours or more and you fly in whatever the system assigns, which on a full aircraft means a middle seat.

Changes after purchase and refunds for reasons of your own are not available on these fares. The number of seats in the sale buckets is limited, and routes and dates revert to the ordinary fare as they sell out rather than at the end of the sale period.

Who it’s forTravellers who can start at Narita and travel on cabin baggage alone. At JPY 6,500, Seoul stays cheaper than a domestic trunk route even after a checked bag is added. It is the wrong fit for anyone flying with an infant, or for a group that needs seats together on a North American leg — the seat-selection charges eat the saving before the aircraft leaves the gate.
Already booked?Travel had to be completed by 24 October on the Asian routes and 15 November on Honolulu and North America. Since neither changes nor voluntary refunds are permitted, the dates were worth reading twice at the booking screen. For a late arrival back into Narita, airport hotels fill up first.
Compared with past salesZIPAIR ran a second round in the same month, with international fares from JPY 15,000 one way. Seoul falling to JPY 6,500 happens a few times a year, and the floor moves unevenly across Asia within a single round: Bangkok sat at JPY 15,500, more than twice the Seoul fare.
