Toki Air has put eligible flights on every route at JPY 5,500 one way under its GO!GO! Autumn Travel Campaign. Weekdays run JPY 5,500 to 7,000 and weekends and holidays JPY 5,500 to 9,000, tax included, for travel between 7 and 30 September 2026.
Selling runs to 27 September but travel stops on the 30th, which leaves five weekday dates
There is still a week of selling left, and the flyable days run out first. 19 to 23 September is a five-day run of holidays — Respect for the Aged Day and the Autumnal Equinox — and the whole of it is priced at the weekend band of JPY 5,500 to 9,000. Counting from today, the days that fall inside the JPY 7,000 weekday ceiling are 24 and 25 September and 28 to 30 September: five in total. Anyone moving around the long weekend should budget at JPY 9,000 and plan on the assumption that seats still exist.
With travel cut off on 30 September, this campaign cannot touch October, which is when the colours actually turn in Hokkaido. Last autumn’s time sale covered 26 October to 26 December, so the two rounds aim at different months entirely. Read as autumn against autumn, though, the floor has dropped JPY 1,500 from last year’s JPY 7,000. It looks expensive beside the summer Thank You Sale’s JPY 999, but the ceilings — JPY 7,000 and JPY 9,000 — are exactly what the summer round carried; only the floor moved.
The days of the week matter as much as the dates. Niigata to Sapporo (Okadama) and Niigata to Nagoya (Chubu) both fly two round trips daily, but Niigata to Kobe operates four days a week — Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday — with nothing on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. On the Kobe route, that reduces the remaining weekday-fare dates to two: Friday 25 and Monday 28 September. Timings changed on 18 September as well: Kobe dropped to a single daytime round trip, leaving Niigata at 12:10 and Kobe at 14:20, and the Chubu afternoon pair moved to 16:20 out of Niigata and 18:15 out of Chubu, so a Friday-evening traveller is working from different times either side of that date. Toki Air’s company information also lists Nagoya (Chubu) to Sapporo (Okadama) among its routes, and the campaign is described only as covering eligible flights across all routes.
Checked baggage is free to 20 kg, then JPY 2,500 from 21 to 30 kg and JPY 3,500 from 31 to 40 kg. Nothing else piles onto the fare, so the total is the fare plus the two charges below and, if you are carrying weight, one of those two numbers. That structure is the thing worth comparing between carriers rather than the headline, as set out in LCC cheap flight booking techniques. The rest of the trip starts with what a night in Sapporo costs on your dates.

Budget at JPY 5,500 and you are out by JPY 100 to JPY 540, depending on where you land
Two charges sit outside the fare. The passenger facility charge is JPY 440 for adults at Chubu Centrair and JPY 300 at Kobe, with none set at Niigata or Sapporo (Okadama), and a system usage fee of JPY 100 applies per seat per segment. At the JPY 5,500 fare, that works out as follows.
Call a round trip JPY 11,000 on the strength of the fare alone and the real figure is JPY 200 to JPY 1,080 higher. The difference is created entirely at the far end — Okadama is the one airport with no facility charge — so the same JPY 5,500 costs JPY 1,080 more over a return to Chubu. Comparing the three routes by fare is close to meaningless; the column that ranks them is the floor you actually pay.
