Solaseed Air sells its discount-fare sale, “Solaseed Special”, from 00:00 on 25 September to 23:59 on 30 September. It covers 14 domestic routes linking Haneda, Chubu, Kobe, Kyushu and Okinawa, and the lowest one-way fare is 5,390 yen between Okinawa (Naha) and Ishigaki or Fukuoka. Travel is possible from 13 October to 31 January 2027, and some routes open only from 25 October.

Fourteen domestic routes from 5,390 yen one way, with Haneda routes around 10,000 yen

These are the lowest one-way fares on the main sections announced by the airline. They are for standard seats one way, and the set amount differs by travel date and flight.

Section One-way fare Travel period covered
Okinawa (Naha) ⇄ Ishigaki, Fukuoka from 5,390 yen 13 Oct – 31 Jan (until 24 Oct, only these two routes)

Tokyo (Haneda) ⇄ Miyazaki, Nagasaki, Oita from 10,780 yen 13 Oct – 31 Jan

What needs care when booking is the two-stage travel period. From 13 to 24 October, the first part, the sale is limited to seven routes: Haneda to Miyazaki, Kumamoto, Nagasaki and Oita, Naha to Ishigaki and Fukuoka, and Chubu to Miyazaki. The other seven routes, including Haneda to Kagoshima, Haneda to Naha, Kobe to Naha and Chubu to Kagoshima, are covered only for travel from 25 October.

Then there are the excluded travel dates: 20 to 23 November (the holiday weekend) and 25 December to 4 January 2027 (the year-end holidays) have no sale fares on any flight. The peaks of the autumn holiday trips and the return to hometowns are left entirely outside this fare. For booking-day and early-bird timing in airfares, see also Flights get cheaper by the day you fly, not the day you book.

What is more, Solaseed Special carries a cancellation fee equal to 90% of the fare for cancellations from right after purchase until departure. Payment is due on the day of booking, and convenience-store and ATM payment is not available, so the fare cannot be used just to hold a seat for now.

For people who can fix their datesIt suits people whose trips to Kyushu or Okinawa between autumn and early winter are already settled. It does not suit anyone whose plans might change, since the heavy cancellation fee of 90% of the fare applies right after purchase. The November holiday weekend and the year-end are also excluded.
If already booked, check the differenceIf you have already secured a flight on a bargain fare or similar, work out the refund fee against the Solaseed Special difference before rebooking. Consider rebooking only if it is surely cheaper even after the cancellation fee is deducted.
Where the lowest fares areNaha to Ishigaki and Fukuoka start at 5,390 yen, Chubu to Kagoshima at 6,710 yen, Kobe to Naha at 7,700 yen and Haneda to Kagoshima at 9,130 yen. Haneda to Kumamoto, Miyazaki, Nagasaki and Oita start between 9,900 and 10,780 yen.

Conditions to check before buying

The airline’s sale page lists these conditions. Fare examples on the page are as of 25 September, and the airline notes that sale prices have been revised upward because of rising costs. Seats are limited, and some routes, flights and periods have no sale fare.

Solaseed Special is not eligible for the child discount or the disability discount. Anyone who needs either should compare it with the airline’s other discounted fares. A round-trip fare applies, in principle, only when the outbound and return flights are both bought as Solaseed Special at the same time. If the same fare has no seat left on the return flight after the outbound fare is chosen, an error screen can appear, and the fix is to change the dates or the fare and search again. For a sale from another airline, see the Jetstar Japan 15th anniversary sale (JA).
