Jeju Air is handing out the code KTOFUK7C2, worth up to JPY 2,000 off a one-way fare from Fukuoka to Busan. Codes are available until 30 November 2026 for flights through 31 December, capped at 500, and only on STANDARD fares of JPY 11,400 or less.

The JPY 2,000 only reaches fares of JPY 11,400 or less, so the dearer the flight the less the code does

“Up to JPY 2,000” carries a note that the amount varies with the fare booked. It comes off automatically by route and fare class once the conditions are met, which means the full JPY 2,000 is not a given. There is no headline fare attached either — no JPY 500 one way — this campaign is the code and nothing else, and the ceiling is what decides its value. The official round-trip examples make the edge visible.

Outbound and return faresHow the code applies
JPY 11,400 out, JPY 11,400 backBoth directions
JPY 11,400 out, JPY 22,100 backOutbound only
JPY 22,100 out, JPY 22,100 backNot at all

The code applies only where the first segment departs Japan, so it can reach the leg home from Busan only if the round trip is booked together. Jeju Air says it works in high season as well, which is true and beside the point: the peak-period fares that make people want a discount are exactly the ones that sail past JPY 11,400. Worth knowing before you read the official examples — the page writes one of them up as “Fukuoka to Incheon”, a route name left over from an earlier round, while the eligible route stated elsewhere on the same page is Fukuoka to Busan.

Six more conditions sit underneath. BASIC fares are out and only STANDARD qualifies; cash and convenience-store payments are excluded; it will not combine with another promotional code or the standing member discount; it cannot be used when changing a booking, though reuse after a cancellation is allowed; adults and children qualify and infants do not; and codes are counted in order of completed payment until the 500th. The single thing it stacks with is the 5% for new members, which is app-only, and the order matters: the new-member discount comes off first, then the code applies to what is left. The discount itself touches the air fare and nothing else — fuel surcharge, airport charges, fare options and the Friday-to-Sunday weekend surcharge all stay at their undiscounted amounts, and the international tourist tax of JPY 3,000 per person applies to tickets issued from 1 July 2026 on top.

The route runs twice a day in each direction.

Out on the morning flight puts you in Busan at 10:00, and even the afternoon service home lands at Fukuoka in the 14:00 hour, which is a day and a half on the ground for one night away. Schedules depend on government approval and the official page asks you to confirm times at booking. Against that, one night in Busan on your dates is the number that completes the arithmetic.

The first 200 bookings made with the code also get a T-money card loaded with 5,000 won. You apply through the entry button on the campaign page after booking and collect it on the day of departure at the Jeju Air check-in counter at Fukuoka Airport; it is not posted and cannot be picked up after landing in Korea, and it is limited to members holding Japanese nationality. Cancel the booking and the gift is recovered, which is stated plainly, so the code belongs at the end of the planning rather than the start.

Who it’s forAnyone doing Fukuoka to Busan as a weekday overnight, on dates where the fare sits around JPY 10,000 — that is where the full JPY 2,000 survives. It is useless for a peak-season round trip at the end of the year, because the moment the fare clears JPY 11,400 the code takes off nothing at all, and it is awkward for anyone whose dates may move, since it cannot be carried across a booking change.
Already booked? The code only attaches to the original booking. Changing dates means cancelling and rebooking rather than amending, and the code can be reused after a cancellation. The T-money card, however, is recovered when a booking is cancelled, so there is no way to secure the gift first and settle the itinerary afterwards.
Compared with past salesThe Kyushu-wide code Jeju Air issued in August covered Fukuoka, Kumamoto and Kagoshima among others; this one narrows to a single airport and runs for three months instead. The airline’s Hiroshima to Seoul code, open until 7 September, had a ceiling of JPY 14,100 one way — the threshold is set per route, not per campaign.

On the same route, Eastar Jet’s JPY 4,000 coupon needs a fare of JPY 10,000 or more

Eastar Jet is running a JPY 4,000 coupon on Fukuoka to Busan until 30 November as well. The campaign dates and travel windows almost match; the fare bands do not. Eastar Jet needs JPY 10,000 or more, Jeju Air needs JPY 11,400 or less, so the two cut the market at roughly the same point from opposite sides.

Below about JPY 10,000 only Jeju Air’s code works; above JPY 11,400 only Eastar Jet’s coupon does. In the narrow band between the two, both are live and Eastar Jet’s JPY 4,000 is the larger cut. From Kumamoto or Okinawa there is no choice to make, since Eastar Jet is the only carrier discounting Busan there, and in a week when Fukuoka fares fall to a few thousand yen the JPY 4,000 coupon has nothing to attach to. Settle the date and the fare first; then look at which code the number lets you use.
