The two hotels that opened in Yokohama in 2026 are chosen by how the room is built and by which night you book, because the rates swap places from day to day. Hilton Garden Inn Yokohama Minatomirai (opened 7 April, 228 rooms) is mostly 22 to 42 m² and costs around JPY 20,000 for two on a Tuesday between October and December. OMO5 Yokohama Bashamichi by Hoshino Resorts (opened 15 January, 175 rooms) has a kitchen and a washer-dryer in every room and is JPY 30,000 for two on the same Tuesdays, but on Saturdays it is the cheaper of the two more often than not.

On size, the standard Hilton Garden Inn room is the 22 m² Guest Room, and 27 m² is already a Deluxe figure. That is enough for two, but the Family Room (34 m², sleeps 3) is the ceiling, so four people means two rooms. OMO5 starts its four-person OMO House at 55 m² and puts a party of six in the 136 m² Corner Suite, so a larger group still fits in one room. Hilton Garden Inn’s strength is a walk home from an event, and OMO5’s is stepping from the ticket gate to the front desk without getting wet.

On Tuesdays Hilton Garden Inn is JPY 6,000 to 10,000 a room cheaper, and on Saturdays the order changes by date

The Hilton Garden Inn figures are the cheapest room on the official booking page, with the 10% service charge included and taxes excluded. The OMO5 figures are the lowest per-person rate shown by the official availability search, doubled for two people. Hilton Garden Inn rates vary widely by room even on one night: on Tuesday 13 October they run from JPY 20,680 for the 22 m² Double Guest Room to JPY 41,050 for the 42 m² Twin Premium Room Ocean Side, almost double.

OMO5’s lowest per-person rate in October and November is JPY 15,000 on most weekdays, JPY 18,000 to 19,000 on Fridays (JPY 26,000 on 13 November) and JPY 22,000 to 30,000 on Saturdays, with Saturday 7 November standing out at JPY 43,050. Monday to Thursday from 14 to 22 December is JPY 14,250, and in January 2027 it falls to JPY 10,450. For three nights or more, the official long-stay plan takes 5% off three consecutive nights, 10% off seven, 20% off fourteen and 30% off twenty-eight.
