Jetstar Japan ran a Super Star Sale from noon on 25 June 2026 until 16:59 on 30 June. The lowest fare was JPY 3,820 one way between Narita and Kansai, and the sale covered 13 domestic routes plus Taipei and Kaohsiung. Travel ran from 3 July to 17 December, with blackout dates set inside that window.
JPY 3,820 bought one route, Narita to Kansai, while the other twelve started between JPY 4,290 and JPY 5,890
Fares are the lowest one way. Airport and passenger service charges are added on top and no fuel surcharge applies. Blackout dates were set route by route.
Only Narita to Kansai carried the headline number. The rest of the domestic table sat between JPY 4,290 and JPY 5,890, a spread of JPY 2,070 up to Fukuoka–New Chitose at the top. Ten of the thirteen domestic routes touch Narita, and the three that do not — Chubu to Fukuoka, Kansai to New Chitose, Fukuoka to New Chitose — are the whole sale for anyone who does not live within reach of Tokyo.
The travel window did more work than the headline. Roughly five and a half months went on sale in one go, so the summer holidays and the autumn colours sat in the same fare table. Blackout dates thinned it, and they were not uniform across routes. Anyone able to push a trip back into November had far more of the window to aim at than someone tied to August.
What the fare buys is cabin baggage and nothing more: one cabin bag and one personal item, two pieces and 7 kg in total. Checked bags and seat selection are priced separately, the fare cannot be refunded, and moving a date costs a change fee plus any difference in fare. Add those charges before setting the number against a discounted fare on a full-service carrier, or the headline travels further than the ticket does. The two Taiwan routes are quoted before tax as well — Japan’s international tourist tax went from JPY 1,000 to JPY 3,000 for departures on tickets issued from 1 July 2026, and this sale closed on 30 June. A weekend built on the JPY 9,380 Taipei fare is laid out in a three-day Taiwan course, where what you pay to sleep in the city, not the flight, is usually the larger half of the bill; room rates for the same dates settle that quickly.
