Eastar Jet ran a special promotion on its Japan–South Korea flights from 10:00 on 24 June 2026 to 30 June, cutting the fare portion by up to 99% and more. Kansai to Seoul (Incheon) started at JPY 100 one way, for travel between 24 June and 31 July.

Fares exclude taxes, the fuel surcharge and checked baggage. From 1 July 2026 an international tourist tax of JPY 3,000 applies to tickets issued on or after that date.
The discount percentage applies to the fare and nothing else. What you hand over is the fare plus taxes, airport charges and the fuel surcharge. Kansai to Seoul and Fukuoka to Busan differ fifty-fold on the fare line and barely at all on the total. The three Busan routes with no fuel surcharge sit near the bottom when the table is sorted by fare and near the top when it is sorted by what you actually pay, which is a good reason to read the surcharge column before the fare column.
Checked baggage is not in the fare, so a trip built around shopping is the wrong fit: add the return leg’s baggage charge first, then compare against another airline’s total. The cheapest buckets cover a small number of seats on particular flights, and some routes sell out on the opening day. Eastar Jet puts out a sale of this size several times a year, which makes waiting for the next one a real option rather than a consolation.
